Our Mission
DOC Products utilizes the engineering design process to provide a solidly backed and well-developed innovation to the public.
Our Problem Statement
According to the National Park Services, 5,006 search-and-rescue missions were conducted between 2013 and 2014 to locate lost hikers. The search-and-rescue operations cost over $5 million annually (Parker, 2017).
Our Solution
The Survival Signal is DOC Products' final solution to their problem statement. It consists of a radio transmitter which sends out an SOS signal to radio towers in a hiking park if the user gets lost.

Our Team
DOC Products has a wide variety of strengths due to the diverse members of its team. All of its members participate in the Project Lead the Way high school program and are thus knowledgeable about engineering and the design process. Its members are involved in activities ranging from academic clubs like the National Honor Society to sports teams like track and field, giving them varying approaches from diverse talents.
