This past week the team started the week finishing up activity A1.1 and proceeding to hand it in. Next was activity A1.2 which was to further narrow down our topic choices. The goal of this activity is take our thirty ideas, get it to ten ideas, and then proceed to get it to three ideas. I made an excel sheet in which we all voted on either Yes or No if we believed in the project, thought it was feasible, or even did not like the idea in general. While going about this process along the way we debated about the feasibility of the idea, or if a product to close to our idea already existed. We also started to figure out if the ideas were academically researchable or had statistics to prove that the ideas were indeed problems. In these discussions we actually managed to narrow the ideas down from thirty to about 5, more or less skipping the middle step. Skipping the middle step ending up saving the team time because it allowed us to not get caught up in the process of find ten topics and not just reducing as we pleased.
