This past week, DOC Products completed Activity A1.2 (finally) and began considering academic and market research to justify their problem statement as part of Activity A4.1. On Thursday, Mrs. Luise met with the group to revise their problem statement and intended audience. Based on her feedback and concepts, DOC Products now plans to create a product which will keep kids entertained during car rides. According to some research, children are far more distracting in the car than are cell phones, so hopefully the product will prevent them from bothering their parents. The targeted end user is the children, and the customer is most likely the parents. One primary issue with the problem statement is how to test its compellingness.
